Dog Friendly Diners In Buxton With TheCharlesLloyd Part 1

A Credit To Buxton On How Friendly It Is To The Pooch

You Can Even Take Them On The Train And Bus.
Nothing worse than leaving a family member at home when going out. Yes they won't enjoy late nights and loud music, but they do enjoy joining you for lunch, dinner or a quick pint.

What Are Your Favourite Places Charles?

Glad you asked, here is a list with links to my review on Google Maps. There are more to add but these are my favourites.
This is my local, they have dog biscuits and the Staff love dogs. They do a great Sunday lunch and once after a long walk we treated our fellow to one, (less the roast potatoes)
The Old Sun Inn
This In has been recently been refurbished, in the winter open firers and mulled wine. It is nice and airy with lots of rooms to dine. Same management as The Duke so lovely animal friendly staff.
53 Degrees North
This has the most outstanding two barmen in Buxton, as well as all the staff. Joined in management with The Old Sun and Duke so you can count on having great service. Also the locals are lovely like the two bars above.

Are there more Charles?

Oh yes indeed, will post part two in the not two distant future.

How TheCharlesLloyd First Came To Buxton

TheCharlesLloyd First Arrived In Buxton In August 2016

Above Clips From Vine at The Time.

I was the Company Stage Manager of a Production Named Dinosaur Zoo; touring the UK and Middle East. We had a day off before our date in Buxton, so I took a leisurely journey up from London Stopping at Derby to have a look around. as I got closer to the town I was taken aback by the country side and the peaks. Then I entered via the Market Square. You could see down to Pavilion Gardens, then the crescent came into view. My eyes feasting on the architecture, I walked past the Old Hall Hotel: where Mary Queen of Scotts once stayed and there was the Opera House. I fell in Love.
The tour was close to Buxton after we left, my days off were spent in the town. So after our run had come to an end, I moved to this Historic Derbyshire Settlement. I will talk more as the blog develops.

What's Vine Charles?

Well it was an application attached to twitter where you could make a six second video and share. I found Vine to be the finest social media forum of them all. Where ever I was I would make a video to say Good Morning to all my friends/followers. The YouTube Clip is a mix of some of the vines I made, for individuals and for all while I fell in Love In Buxton .

The River Erme Ivybridge.

The River Erme

Yes Here I am By The River Erme.
Water is a fantastic calming element if that is what you need at the time. My Daughter used to enjoy the sound of running water when she could not sleep as a baby. So I will be mapping from the start of the River Erme to the estuary for listeners.
Over at Radioland (where we are testing ready for broadcasting,) I will be including this more.
As I have said before the dawns in Ivybridge are indeed the calm time for the weather and today after the Thunder Storm it proved true to form.

Thank you for your read, more soon.
